Jörg Widmann Flûte en suite

Jörg Widmann’s Flûte en suite was commissioned by the Cleveland Orchestra for Joshua Smith. The world premiere of Flûte en suite took place in 2011 and in 2014 the Cleveland Orchestra will feature this work as part of their European tour.

Ensemble HD: Live at the Happy Dog

In 2012 Joshua Smith and Sean Watterson successfully raised $15,000 on Kickstarter, a crowdfunding site, for a project to record Ensemble HD: Live at the Happy Dog. The album was released in May 2013.

PBS Arts from Cleveland: Artistic Choice

MINI-DOCUMENTARY “Artistic Choice – Helping Cleveland Preserve a Legacy”

TELOS developed a short mini-documentary for a national broadcast on PBS about how the arts are funded in Cleveland. This mini-doc directed by Thomas Ball features several experts in the field of public funding of the arts, artists, performers, dancers, and musicians as well as a bite-sized history of patronage in great Cleveland Art institutions like the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Cleveland Orchestra. The Happy Dog and Ensemble HD are featured as well!
