And we’re back! Instead of updating the site, I’ve been working on a writing project that is NOW PUBLISHED! Two new excerpt books on everyone’s favorite (20th Century) standard flute audition excerpts. What I’m very proud of is what makes these different from others: me! I’m giving you a glimpse into my mind- the decisions I’d make when playing this music, drills to practice the challenges presented, and, especially, lots of reminders that these solos are music and not just obstacle courses. They’ll be available soon at most online retailers and flute specialty shops and for now, you can order them here.
