By now, TCO has been in quarantine since March 13, just like most of the rest of the world. One new way we’ll be able to reach audiences will be a streaming platform, due to release soon. Looking forward to playing for you again! More to come.
TCO concerts the weekend November 8-10, 2018 feature Transir by Matthias Pintscher, a flute concerto that has thrown some absolutely new technical challenges at me. I’m looking forward to diving into this piece with the orchestra and Alain Altinoglu.
I’m pleased to be joining the New York Philharmonic’s flute section as a guest for Alan’s final concerts, in what I think will be a stunning performance of Mahler’s Seventh.
One of my favorite concerts of 17/18 (indeed, of at least the last few years) was a Brahms German Requiem at St. Florian Abbey in Austria.
